Spike Lavender essential oil is steam-distilled from the flowering tops of Lavandula latifolia, a plant native to France, Spain, Italy, and the Balkans. It has a camphorous, fresh aroma and shares some of the properties of true Lavender, though it is slightly stronger and should be used sparingly.
