Scent profile: Sweet, wintergreen-like aroma with fresh, woody, and slightly medicinal notes. Powerful, penetrating, and refreshing — often used to add brightness and depth to blends.

Skin / Topical (when diluted): Sweet Birch essential oil is highly potent and should always be used with care. When properly diluted (maximum 2.5 %), it can lend a refreshing, toning scent to massage or body blends. Traditionally used in cosmetic formulations for its cleansing and astringent aroma, which may help refresh and invigorate the skin. Always dilute before use and perform a patch test.

Mind / Aromatic: The sharp, camphoraceous aroma of Birch is mentally stimulating and energising, often used to create a sense of focus and motivation. The fragrance can help to uplift the mood and restore a sense of vitality.

Body / General well-being: When used in aromatherapy massage blends, the warm, invigorating scent of Birch evokes a soothing sense of comfort and ease. Its powerful, clarifying fragrance makes it a popular choice for diffusers or rubs intended to encourage a sense of movement and refreshment.

Blends well with: Citrus oils, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, and Rosewood.

How to Use:
– Dilute to 2.5 % (5 drops per 10 ml carrier oil).
