North Star Business Update

Just a quick note from me to update you on what is happening with North Star Complementary Therapies in relation to Covid-19. The government is encouraging people to return to work where it is safe to do so. As part of the first wave of businesses to close due to the virus, I anticipate we will be one of the last to open again. Some therapists may choose to open sooner, however for me personally, I will not re-open until I am confident I can provide a safe environment for us and operate within government guidelines. It is clear from discussion in the therapy industry that how we conduct our treatments will change. There will be additional hygiene requirements, additional cleaning requirements, PPE etc. I am currently waiting for guidance from The General Council of Soft Tissue Therapies, our industry body, on how I will need to operate going forwards. In the meantime, you may come across me doing a different job. As a relatively new business I am not eligible for any of the government support on offer. Don't despair though, it does not mean I am abandoning the business, but needs must. 

I am hoping that by September I will be up and running again. In the meantime, for existing clients, watch out for notification of the launch of my online shop for aromatherapy blends. I hope you are all keeping safe, and I look to forward to seeing you again when I can re-open. Take care Kylie
